Survivorfest Running Event athletes place their trust in us, not only to provide a world class event, but also in our commitment to their well-being during a global pandemic. Athletes registering prior to relaxation of Alberta Health Services (“AHS”) Public Health Order mandates were required to acknowledge receipt of COVID 19 vaccinations and provide proof of that if requested by the Survivorfest Board. COVID 19 remains an unpredictable virus that has not been eradicated, guidance and situational responses to variants continue to evolve. To be equitable to earlier registrants (and in consideration of the previous statement), Survivorfest Running Event will continue to require all registrants and volunteers to confirm their full COVID 19 vaccination status for the 2022 event; this will be reviewed for the 2023 event.
